At the start of the season we planted 4 tomato plants. With the unreasonably warm weather the last few weeks, we are now at near-peak tomato harvest time. Everything but the beef tomato plant is ready-to-eat and produces a dozen or more each day. This bowl (which is quite deep) represents not even 2 days worth of new fruit. And, of course, the best time for all this is the same week you bring your newborn back home!
